Delightful, casual and friendly  atmosphere. Delicious food- the mussels special was tasty and abundant. The wait staff (especially Kelly 😙) was spot on with her quick wit, knowledge and timing. Can't wait to return!

I have been to Gertie's a number of times now and have never failed to be impressed. The food prepared here by Rob is some of the best I have had and will long remember these meals. The wine alone is worth the visit but paired with the food it is an experience not just a meal. If I had to recommend any meal it would be all of it. Treat yourself and stop in for a glass and you will never be disappointed.

Very nice small restaurant.  Friendly staff and an inventive menu.  Lamb Ragu on Papardelle was truly "Italian Good"  If I had eaten it in Bologne it would not have been any better.  Mushroom appetizer was a little sweet for my taste, but good none the less.  Wines are well selected and fairly priced.

The first octopus I have had in America which is equal to what we had years ago in Galacia, Spain (NW).  Sublime mushroom appetizer.  Great pasta, salad, and dessert, and the wine was amazing, all at a reasonable price.  Service?  Professional and personable.  In Seattle or Portland, the line would be out the door.

This is the BEST SEAFOOD I have EVER eaten! The octopus, calamari, and shrimp were grilled to perfection. The ensalata de mare also had fennel, celery, tomatoes, and olives. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and lightly dressed. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food you get. I love the idea of the menu changing weekly. Allows you to try something different.  As the other reviewers have noted, this restaurant is small. You may have to wait to get a seat, but it is definitely worth it. I will definitely come back!
