Scam.....unethical advertising.......Beware...do not purchase any discounted gift certificates from this company. Gave my parents 2 gift certificates for Christmas worth $350.00 after paying a discounted rate of $170.00. Thought I got a deal. They were so excited. When they placed there order they were told that the gift certificates were only worth $170.00. Unbeknownst to them, they had chosen from the weekly specials menu and that the gift certificates could not be used for that. No one told them at the time of purchase, otherwise they would have not chosen from the specials menu. I contacted a representative from the company and explained my problem. All he did was talk in circles and offered no help or compensation for the confusion. There are many other lobster companies to choose from in Maine. Do not use this company.

We live in Florida and had 30 friends over for some Live Maine Lobster. Moe and Mark were outstanding and extremely helpful. All the lobsters shipped and arrived here alive, in great condition and exactly when we expected them. We had a great day and will continue to order Live Maine Lobster from this  company.

I cant understand these bad reviews - I have been using this company for years and have NEVER had anything but awesome product, service and attention!  We live in UT - it's a long haul from Maine - yet my lobsters always arrive ON TIME  - alive and perfectly yummy.  Lobster IS expensive - (HELLLLOOO) but the deals these folks run are unbeatable.  We have several events a year that we order from GETMAINLOBSTER - and will continue to do so.  This company is top notch with customer service and as I said - AWESOME products!  Don't miss an opportunity for pure yummy, joy!

I bought a lobster roll kit for $170 ($140 + $30 shipping).  I basically received a small ziplock of lobster meat and 6 hot dog buns.  I get it, lobsters are expensive but seriously...

Purchased some crab cakes and scallops.  The scallops arrived frozen, thawed them on ice in the fridge, they were not fresh, they were old and smelly.  The size count was also mixed, some were broken up.  Expensive poor quality seafood.

The crabcakes were mostly bread, the crab was very broken up.  First time-last time customer.
