Hot Suppa

About

Hot Suppa's Southern kitchen and bar features a critically acclaimed menu serving brunch 7 days a week, great happy hour deals, and dinner 5 days a week.

Story

The menu at Hot Suppa is all made from scratch from quality ingredients; local goods are used whenever possible. Our renowned breakfast and lunch are served seven days a week, so you can get that corned beef hash fix whenever you’re jonesing. Dinner is available five nights a week, featuring our favorite dishes, like fried chicken & a waffle, falafel salad, and Maine oysters on the half shell. We offer a full bar service if you care to relax into the evening with a Porch Swing cocktail, or recover in the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary or cold draft beer.

A comfort food experience. Hot Suppa is one of my go-to restaurants, especially in the colder months, because they do comfort food "right". Whether you go in for breakfast/brunch, lunch, or dinner - you're bound to find something delicious. I tend to like their fried chicken dishes the best, but they make an amazing pulled pork eggs benedict that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The only reason(s) I docked it one star is because A. The Parking and B. The Size. It can sometimes be impossible to find a spot, and then even if you do - sometimes there is a half hour or an hour wait to get in. That should tell you how good the food is, though. Overall, it's a perfect spot to have a meal centered around comfort food. I would highly recommend it.

My favorite place for breakfast because it's a great balance between being indulgent and being healthy. The booths are cozy and it's not too loud to have a conversation with friends. Service is great. Get there early enough and there won't be a wait. I highly recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes Eggs Benedict!

Just had breakfast there for the first time. I had a delicious egg sandwich with corned beef and pickled onions on rye bread. So good! My husband loved his grits and homemade corned beef hash. Service was great too.

Looking over the menu for Hot Suppa, I was prepared for it to be really great or really terrible and it did not disappoint. From the New Orleans-inspired cocktail list to the homemade cocktail sauce served with their Happy Hour dollar oysters (Oh my god, yes) to a pulled pork sandwich that was so good I was mad at it; Hot Suppa nails it at every turn. The food is outstanding but unpretentious. The collards (something few restaurants ever get right) were cooked perfectly; flavorful and complex without being too bitter. Portions are big but not ridiculous so you definitely won't leave hungry. The drink menu is full of local beers and exquisite spirits and definitely is a gem all its own. So happy with this amazing dinner.

A warm atmosphere featuring art by local artists. The happy hour menu is fantastic, you can't beat $1 oysters! Their bloody Mary is a work of art too. One of the best I've had! A must try when visiting.
