I have shopped here for the past 27+ years and I may have to find a new store.  They have the best Pharmacy staff around as well as the deli so I will still go there for those two departments.  The past three times in a row I have been there(different days and times) they had only two cashiers open and there were 7 to 8 people in each line.  I use the self checkout if I only have a few items or the large checkout with the conveyor belt if I have a big order.  That lane was closed as well so you have to wait in line for however long it takes. There were two employees in the outer office and one filling the lottery machines but they didn't lift a finger to help.  They finally called for help over the pa system after customers loudly complained! I have asked to speak to the manager the past 2 times I have been there but she is never available.  Maybe that is the problem.  The next time this happens I will leave my order in the cart and find a new place to shop.

This is a typical mid-market neighborhood store. It has the everyday items. Don't go there expecting to but items that you would otherwise get at a Market District store. Generally clean and pleasant to shop. **Added 07/03/17 - My mobile phone signal (Vzw) now works in the store. That is a huge bonus!

Just about every employee is very nice and helpful! But... There's always going to be a couple of bad apples no matter where you go. This GE is pretty good at weeding those out though. My experience there is usually always a very good one! You can't beat the hotbar either ;)

The grocery shopping experience here isn't horrible. The selection is slim but it is a great place for picking up the basics. The reason I leave one star is due to their pharmacy. The team in the pharmacy is useless. It took me over 6 hours to get medications I had ordered two weeks prior. I was told everything from you have no refills (despite the bottles they printed telling me otherwise) to well those are filled off site and they are unable to give you accurate refills. They continued to attempt to cover their ass rather than owning up to a mistake and just getting me my meds. I was also told that it is not their responsibility to call me if they cannot fill a prescription as promised despite this being solely their responsibility to inform a customer if their order is not going to be filled on time or at all.
