At the Celebrate Virginia on Rt 17 "My Giant Food friends" have been most wonderful, helpful AND they take care of me!😁.     I have been known to leave my groceries on the check out counter n one of the staff comes running after me with my groceries in hand. I've left my canes in the basket n someone brings it to me.  Everyone is courteous n if I can't find something, they will find it for me. If they are out stock for the sale product they will give me a raincheck.   
And I can't forget the Starbucks staff at my Giant.....they see me coming n they have my coffee almost before I get to the counter

In the past 2 weeks, we have bought ground beef there that was rotten when we got home and opened the package and today I purchased a pint of heavy whipping cream that was a solid block when I got it home.

The meat looked fine and the date on the carton of cream was 11/18/2017.

Typical Giant. Produce lasts relatively well, most of their stuff is fresh although they don't have much selection when it comes to spicy peppers.  There's a gas station here for the folks that keep a giant card and takes advantage of the giant discounts on gas when earning points through grocery purchases

I have been shopping at this store for over two years.
In this time I have developed a relationship with alot of the employees.
All of them have been nice to me and recognize me as a regular.
Valerie,a cashier, is wonderful.
Our banter every week is fun and makes my trip enjoyable.
The stock people, managers,etc I have nothing but good to say.
That is until today. 1/21/17.
Brittany Macintosh was the manager this morning.
There was an issue with the card reader.
She was called to the register, and seemed rude and annoyed.
She left said it was fixed and when it wasn't was called back.
She did not respond immediately and when she did that same annoyed,rude attitude came out.
When see couldn't fix it she says:
"Come over here."
Not really to me just talking and walking away.
Not, "Sir, I'll take care of you at the service desk."
Some nice response as though I weren't an annoyance to her. 
She rang me up no Thank you or similar response.
This young lady needs to be retrained on customer relations,and relating to her co-workers.
This is my first and only "Bad" experience in this store.
