I love going to Gibson's Bookstore and I almost always walk out with something interesting. They do a really nice job of curating the books that they stock; I find something new every time. I do wish that they would expand their used book section a bit or turn over some of the older inventory (many of the same books now for over a year) since this is one of my favorite things to browse. 

Gibson's also regularly has authors in to do book signings (Hillary Clinton was in recently) and other events. Sure, you can find most of the books they stock for $10-15 less on Amazon, but you really miss out on the experience, which is really worth the difference if you ask me. And as book stores go, Gibson's is definitely at the top of my list.

Absolutely a five star rating. This place is wonderful. The selection is large. The staff are great and educated people. 
 I ordered a book, and it came in two days later, as promised. 
 All in all...a great place.

Gibson's is one of a dying breed: the small, independent bookstore. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good variety of books.  They also have a cafe inside their store- another local business. Gibson's is a good place to browse and relax.

For being a small local business, this store is great. I went in with my husband looking for a book that they didn't have but they went right online in the store and ordered it for us. They also do a rewards card so if you spend a certain amount you get a percentage off your next purchase. Great store.

Good selection of books and very organized store layout. Our toddler enjoyed petting the stuffed animals and exploring the kids play area. We enjoyed our lunch in the cafe and also discovered some new books from local authors.
