This school looks like a good school but they are terrible. Most of teachers are young and inexperienced, good luck trying to get a hold of someone in the office before 8am in case of emergency. This is the only school i know that doesnt have any school trips, no after school programs or activities whatsoever. Once it hits 3pm eveyone goes home, even the peiple in the main office. They dont offer any extra help or tutoring, they expect parents to pay out of pocket elsewhere. What about all the families paying taxes in this community? Or families who cany afford extra curricular activities? Where does all the state and federal funding go? This school always ask for money, for everything! Why are they so low on funds? For God sake, their breakfast is only from 830 to 840, they dont allow the kids to come in a little earlier, they rather you wait outside. Im so sick of this school. They ban certain foods,certain games, with no real good reason. My son and daughter hate this school and it was a real hassle just to get in. The cirriculum is a disaster, kids are being forced to do work that is too advanced. My 1st grade child is doing algebra, that is ridiculous. The way they want 4th graders to do math is just stupid. The government is dumbing our kids down.

The township has many people moving in that do not speak English as a first language. So the school has many children enrolled that do not speak English very well. I have three children that went to this school and all have complained about overcrowding. The teachers will spend extra time with the students who do not speak English. Also, the school ranks very low within the county compared to other schools. There are many fights between the children. Being so close to Paterson, NJ many parents from that district are moving to the EP school district bringing the inner city problems to this school as well. I would suggest that you enroll your children in a private school.
