So here's what I think would tell a true version of the store. Look, I've bought and sold rings, scrap metal and loose gemstones for 20 years in the West, the Midwest, the South and the East as a private seller hoping for the best price. I've also been the buyer in all those markets as a private buyer of many jewelry items. In the end, I can honestly say that the negative reviews here are unfounded. If you buy jewelry as an "investment" you got suckered before you walked in here to sell, and not by this establishment unless they sold you the piece in the first place. Jewelry has been for years known by those in the know as a 90% markup with at best a 10% resale... And I mean at best! Your $300.00 gold ring? Be thankful if pawning you can get two or more Little Ceaser's carry out "Hot and Ready" pizzas for what your ring "commands." And please, skip the sob story on your "valuable" diamond...  So, here's the long and the short of it from someone who's bought and sold over half his life. Ginger's will offer you comparable to any other jeweler who is honest in what they offer while also trying to stay in business. If you're going to get mad at what they offer to purchase your jewelry at go post about the original seller making you believe you were "investing" in something. If you are looking to purchase..   Honestly... They probably as of the time of this review have the best prices... in Roanoke... in Virginia... on the Mid-Atlantic region... You get the point. Honest quality, honest price. I have the last item I want in the way of jewelry so there's no need to suck up so what you see here is the last review of the last store I plan to go to. So from Seattle to Minneapolis to Nashville to Roanoke... Yeah, they're competitive. Their repairs and such? No idea. Never used. But there you go on what I can comment on.

I LOVED working with Ginger. I had an amazing experience and I’d trust her with any of my future jewelry needs. Ginger helped me find not only what I needed, but something way better than I could have ever imagined.

Wonderful experience! I was able to talk to Ginger herself, and she was very sweet and so helpful! We are very satisfied, and will recommend Ginger's Jewelry to many!

Terrible experience. Went here to look for an engagement ring, found a setting I liked. Picked out a diamond to put in it. Fairly expensive diamond. Sent off to get placed in setting. Comes back, not my diamond!!! I get an independent apraiser to look at it and she agrees that it wasn’t my diamond that I picked out. I go back to the store, bring up the issue. They said oh well get it fixed w a better or same quality diamond. Almost a month later they call me and say they have a diamond and I go to look at it and it still wasn’t the same quality diamond that I had originally picked out. I called ginger to discuss the issue, and she hung up on me!!!!! I eventually got my refund. Jerry the manager is not good to deal with. And ginger is a scam artist. I will not be going back for sure. It don’t even deserve 1 star.

I had some jewelry I wanted to sell , I knew that getting what i paid for it was a silly thing since they didnt have to buy my jewelry .  But I received a,fair price they really helped me out.
I went to others to sell they were the  fairest for my gold.
