What I can say that others haven’t. This is awesome NY style pizza that tastes amazing. Lots of different toppings and Italian food and crust options. Plenty of drink options too. The indoor old school pizza joint vibe is legit with plenty of tables and tvs. Pizza is as great to go or delivered. Prices if typical SF prices so fair and the food is all good along with friendly service. This place is super popular read busy so on weekends it’s best to make reservations or order pickup/ delivery in advance. It’s Clement street so street parking can be tough. Worth the drive and weight. My go to place if you’re in the Western or Central parts of SF!
How do you describe an Inner Richmond institution that has been a part of so many families lives for the almost 3 decades that we've lived and raised a family here. After work, after school events, just the family and in groups. The thin crust pizza is one of the best in San Francisco. The pasta dishes are great and the Calzones fantastic.
Our family loves Giorgio's Pizzeria. It's got that classic feel of a pizza shop straight from the seventies/eighties probably started then and never changed. Great atmosphere, solid pizza, and they give out scrap pizza dough to entertain the kids. Great for delivery too. We have Giorgio's almost every Saturday.Food: 5/5
The BEST pizza I’ve had in the west coast so far!!! Coming from someone that used to have NY large slice pizza everyday for lunch. This is one of the best yet! Freshly made pizza where the crust is in between soft and crunchy. The ingredients chicken and green pepper also tasty! Staff is nice too, came around to ask how we thought of the food
TLDR: New Yorkers and Italians beware… not what you want when you’re craving italian or pizza! Positives: customer services hospitality, work ethic, atmosphere all great for a no frills spot. You can tell everyone worked hard especially in the kitchen! so kudos to that!! My husband and I are from NY but have been in SF for a decade. We finally tried this local spot expecting food and service quality like at Gaspare’s— mom and pop feel, no frills, home style dishes. Sharing my honest and personal opinion. If you love this spot then yay! We felt misled by the other reviews on here so I’m hoping others will find this helpful! Honest review: 1. Their take on calzones are unique; multiple sizes, you basically get a folded pizza, turned into another pizza? pictured 2. Pizza sauce was okay — we tried a classic pepperoni pie. It tasted like a Lunchables or frozen pizza. 3. Dough is fine. 4. We shared a baked penne and it lacked ricotta but overall was tasty. Nothing crazy. 5. I think the server could be more knowledgeable or caring about advice; we asked her about the calzone and couldn’t really say much i.e size recommendations. Finally, it’s very pricy!! For the quality of the ingredients, overall taste and execution… shocking. But i get it - times are hard. Interesting that people say it’s family friendly? There’s a spot on Geary that also starts with a G ; that is way way better.
10/10 restaurant. Everything tastes amazing, and i love the small family owned feel. Everything has thought and care out into it, and I can really tell. Also great gluten free options!! Both Pizza & Pasta! Will definitely return.
Georgio’s deserves a great review and I’ve never left one. IMHO, best NY style pizza in SF. I’ve been here for almost 24 years and there are SO few excellent pizza spots in this city. Delivery or dine-in, a great family run spot w perfect thin crust, tangy sauce, and great pasta options. This is the spot, people.Food: 5/5
Screaming children and disgusting, overpriced food. I feel bad for these servers. They told us that they don’t know why the eggplant parm is still on the menu, because nearly everyone send it back. Too bad we learned this after ordering it. Thankfully we were able to send it back for a mini sized pizza. Better, still below average. Sauce had no flavor, the cheese wasn’t bold or bright at all. Crust was decent. We paid $9 for four mozzarella sticks the size of our pinky. We won’t be back— what a waste of $30.
Great pizza! Quality cheese and well balanced. The reviews should be higher. Best meatballs in town.Food: 5/5
Finally they reopened their dinning in , used to to come to this place a lot then pandemic hit and they were only take out for soo long , love the food fresh as usual friendly servers, parking is kind of harder to find around but it’s SF just park a block or two away and walk , was there on mothers days many families and kids friendly with warm atmosphere, clean remodeled restrooms , will be cool to have some Italian music played i think to make it feel more authentic atmosphere, happy to be here again and miss all my goodies Vegetarian options: Got few good things to try Kid-friendliness: Good family place with options for kids menu
