I found the same thing as the first post. Called to get a quote to top up the attic after an energy audit. Seemed uninterested in my job, said he would call back and never did.

I had an energy audit done on my house which recommended I upgrade the insulation in my attic. So I researched a few companies and phoned for estimates. This was one company I contacted. The guy said he did not come out and do estimates but could give me one over the phone. Not a huge problem of course but I struggled a little with his questions and pulled up the energy audit report. He was going on and on about how many phone calls they got and how many estimates they did so I asked him if he was basically saying that he was not interested in the job. He told me the information should be in the report but since I did not seem to be happy with the set up to have a nice day and hung up on me. Perhaps you should try a company that is actually interested in your business!!

With the tax refund in mind I called Glacier and things went great. John asked for my attic's square footage, the R-value I required, and had a price for me right away. Other companies took days to get back to me with a price, and they were all higher than Glacier.

To the previous poster, I think what he was asking for is the square footage and required R Value....I am not sure what is so hard about that.

His attic crew was younger than I thought, but did a great job.
