Story

The Knappett Group of companies has been in business since 1983 and we come from a long family tradition of building throughout British Columbia. Our head office is located in Victoria, BC.

We have constructed over 600 projects in the past 34 years including many municipal infrastructure projects, condominiums and developments, schools, seismic upgrades, building envelope repairs, municipal process facilities and institutional projects. Landmark projects include City of Victoria Police Station, French Creek Pollution Control Facility, Our Place Shelter for the Homeless, Origin at Longwood Senior's Development, BC Ferries Departure Bay Terminal (LEED Gold), CRD UV Disinfection Facility, many municipal buildings, additions and Municipal infrastructure.

We comprise a team of approximately 130 tradesmen and construction professionals including 3 Professional Engineers, 7 Project Managers, and 14 experienced and capable Site Superintendents all located on Vancouver Island. We employ numerous certified professionals of various trades and disciplines as recognized by the Canadian Construction Association (Gold Seal) and industry training authority.
