History

Established in 2004.

Glamour Closet opened its first location in San Francisco in 2005 and expanded into the Los Angeles market in 2008, Chicago in 2012 and New York in 2014. Today we have one of the largest collections of wedding gown samples available for sale off the rack in the country. Our gowns are discounted between 25% and 75% off every day.

What a cool concept! Each dress is unique and they only have one of them.  You buy it off the rack and come home with it.  Many brides found their dress while there as it is deeply discounted groin what a dress is regularly! The staff is kind and very helpful! They are very motivated to help you find your perfect dress! I would definitely recommend to check it out!

My daughter found her perfect designer dress at Glamour Closet! This salon is so underrated and is a hidden gem! We expected a disorganized, free-for-all atmosphere. We were so wrong! The gowns were beautiful, well organized and clean. They were in wonderful condition, not needing repairs and dirty like other places we had gone. The staff was so helpful, joyful and knowledgeable! We never felt rushed and were given individual attention. Yes, your bride shares the stage and mirrors with other brides, but we never felt slighted or crowded. My daughter tried on many gowns and after 3 hours of fun, laughter and tears we walked out with her wedding dress in hand! Such a memorable happy experience. Thank you so much, Victoria, for your patience and bright smile! You were so awesome!

I went there with my friend to look at wedding gowns, if you're above a size 10 in bridal sizes and have more than $2k to spend, don't bother. I don't look like someone who has $10k to spend, nor do I, but when you're rudely being told to not take the dress off the rack to hold it up to you to see the waist length (as I am relatively short). I'll take my $3500 elsewhere, thank you. :)

I had such a great experience at Glamor Closet! Nicole helped me and was very friendly and did a great job listening to what I wanted and making suggestions.  I  wanted to go to lunch and consider my options and they let me come back and try my favorite dress on again! Michelle was very sweet and helpful when I tried the dress on the second time.  There were so many beautiful dresses to try on  and the girls went out of their way to make me feel special. The ordering process was simple and stress-free as well! I highly recommend this place to other brides-to-be.

I had a wonderful experience at Glamour Closet. Nicole was so friendly and made me feel so special! She really took her time with me and made the whole experience comfortable and fun.

After trying on about 8 dresses, I found the one. It fit me almost perfectly straight off the rack which is so rare, especially in a sample sale dress shop. Most of the sizes are 10 or 12, but by chance this dress was a 6! It was the exact designer I had dreamt about too- Pronovias. 

Nicole would later tell me that from the minute I tried the dress on, she knew that it was the one and couldn't picture any other bride in it. 

Overall a great experience. Friendly staff, beautiful dresses, unbeatable prices. Thank you Nicole!
