Story

Since 1905, Adventist Health Glendale (AHGL) has provided quality health care to residents of Glendale and the surrounding communities. AHGL is a full service, not-for-profit 515-bed hospital, offering advanced inpatient and outpatient services. AHGL meets the needs of a sprawling and diverse community.

Great Family Feud personality,  Ray Combs, was sent in to this hospital on a suicide watch. The staff neglected to take the appropriate procedures to keep him from another suicide attempt. Because of the staff's negligence, Ray was able to use a bed sheet, hide in a closet, and proceed to hang himself, with no one finding him for nearly two hours. I do not want even give this hospital 1 star. I will forever be truly outraged.

Harry Balian (Cardiology Department) is a fraud physician. More than half of Los Angeles or people in the world suffer from Heart failure/cardiac arrest/cardiac problem etc...if you care for yourself or your family member please keep in mind if your loved one is rushed in to Glendale Adventist with a heart problem do not accept this fraud doctor on call. Unless you want to start planning a funeral. Please understand he lies to his patients and other staff. You won't succeed with your health with someone who only cares about his pocket. No form of psychology is used in his approach with family and patients.

Always exceptional. Drs, nurses, front desk personnel and everyone is wonderful. We have been there since 2005 and it has always been a pleasure. I have had three surgeries here and would recommend them highly. Love this hospital!

They don't even deserve one star let alone 5 they had my grandmother wait for 12 hours to see a doctor. Across from us was a girl in agony and she waited 10 hours and they didn't even see her, and she left after 10 hours of waiting in agony. Next once my grandmother got back there they made her wait hours and hours for medicine & to hear the cause of what's going on with her. If you want to go to a hospital don't go to this one because y'all wait and wait and wait until you milk up the courage to leave because they don't care how long you've been waiting. Glendale Adventist hospital deserves to be in hell not the hood.

Well, I hope you never need a heart transplant, but if you do, this is the best place in the world to get a heart transplant. The surgical team saved the life of my brother. You can see the photo here. He is recovering nicely and getting stronger every day. Thank you!

There is a good reason that this hospital is number one in the world for heart transplants. Again, I pray that you never need a heart transplant, but if you do this is the right place to go.

My brother speaks with highest admiration for his team of doctors.
