At the end of the South Platt River trail, this small park is a bit far from other parks in the downtown area and takes a while to reach through the trail. It seems pretty quiet, has great green spaces with a playground. I passed by while having a nice morning run along the river.
Dope lil park in the cut, there were a lot of homeless people hanging outon every occasion visiting this parkwhen we arrived but they departed as they seen us coming up. There is no parking in front of the park you have to get there by a walking trail. Also there are picnic tables & charcoal grills in 2 locations but no restrooms are available. Playground: They have a tug of war thing and a tight rope which I thought was unique. Dog-friendliness: They have bags to clean up after your dogs. Picnic area: Tables and charcoal grills available.
Cute playgrounds one for little kids and one for older kids with lots of natural elements. It was just completed Dec '19. Several walking paths around the playground good for scooters and bikes.
Easy access. Nice, clean park. There are a lot of trucks because of Pepsi but the drivers are great and professional around there.
It’s an okay park. Sort of overrun by the homeless. DO NOT park in the lot that google sends you to on Washington st., it is private property and they will tow your vehicle.
It's beautiful, even with the traffic. Always nice people. No matter who is around nice friendly speaking people. Drivers are kind. The view I love and enjoy. They did a superb job on the landscaping and river. My family enjoys coming to this park. Beautiful.
This is one of Denver's most beautiful Parks right on the South Platte River
Pleasant bike ride and was even more fun to kick with my puppy Diego here for a little bit
They've done a nice job updating this park. Good place to toss and frisbee and let a dog run around. Has a nice bike path that connects all the way down to REI and Confluence Park.
It’s a nice breath of fresh air in an otherwise concrete and metal, industrial area. The grass is well maintained. The river is disappointingly dirty at this point, but you can’t have everything. It’s a great place to stop while walking the river trail. There’s little to no shade, so wear sunscreen.
