We had new carpet installed in our manufactured home in Washington state today. The installers were very professional, and did an outstanding job. I would give them a 10 plus, and will consider them for a future job of installing our laminate in the kitchen. We are thrilled with the quality of the carpet too. Thanks again for the great install. As you probably already know by now, our shower remodeling has been completed. It looks BEAUTIFUL!!! We just wanted to tell you how pleased we were with Doug Straight....he was efficient, punctual, & knowledgeable. We can’t give Doug enough kudos we were that pleased with his professionalism. You lucked out sub-contracting(?) this fellow. We just wanted to add our extra 2 cents worth of how pleased we are with him.

So Ken shows up from GMA Construction and does not know (even though he had the work order) that he was to do a sink and toilet install. So you would think, SINK, its either going to fit in the same hole or have to be enlarged, but they do not come prepared to cut a bigger hole (it's formica over plywood), the plumber cant do the cutting, that takes someone else. So they do not call back, but of course they already have my money. You would think they could at least come prepared or at least call the customer to let them know what they are actually coming to do so you can be prepared. If I wanted to cut the hole I would not have called them at all! HOME DEPOT and their chosen defunct contractors need to get their customer service hats on or loose business and respect.

Yes, if Home Depot sends GMA Construction out to do an installation. Once you find out their name, scream no way. My installer , Paul Osmak was very arrogant and rushed the job as it was his last appointment of the day. The door he installed did not fit or work properly. He started the job saying the door trim was improperly installed. I was so angry I called & had the assistant manager of the HD store come to my house when he came back to repair it. He did nothing to fix the problems until I insisted, then he tried to blame all the problems on my carpenter, the door framing and on manufacturer defects. The weather stripping on the bottom of the door kept pulling out, he told me to get some silicon caulking and glue it in place. The door still does not close properly. He was even more arrogant and very rude on the second trip. Cancel you order with Home Depot and do let GMA touch anything you own.

I ordered Pergo laminate from Home Depot and they sent GMA to do the install. GMA did a seriously UNBELIEVABLY BAD job. I cannot even begin to warn you enough about what a horrendous job they did! Juve (pronounce Hoo-vay) and his crew showed up late and left early and in between they did not level the floor which has led to chipping of corners of the laminate, and moving planks. They did not nail finishing nails all the way in and left them protruding from the trim. Protruding nails of this sort are EXTREMELY sharp and a great danger to my 2 and 4 year old children's little toes. They also neglected to shuffle the laminate planks that can have repeating patterns and installed like patterned planks in collective groups in the middle of the floor, a very amateur mistake indeed. They also cut planks too short and installed them anyway which now there are big gaps in the flooring because the piece slides about 1/2 an inch. Transition pieces were also very poorly tacked down. If GMA sends an installer named Juve to do your install, call and cancel your order. I am telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth! In fact if you find out that GMA is doing your install, no matter who they send i would not allow it to happen. The install was so bad that after Home Depot sent out 3 different inspectors, we were finally given our money back. But that's another story in itself. I would steer clear of Home Depot's flooring department too. If you want to hear that story I will be posting a review for them online as well on the appropriate web page. If anyone is interested I would be happy to take some photos and send them to you. You have been warned! By the way, the only reason I even gave them one star was because i had to in order to publish the post otherwise I would give no stars.
