I can't speak for Duston's work, but I can speak for his punctuality, honesty, and thoroughness. He arrived on time. He was professional. He answered questions i had and explained quite a few things without me even asking. He was honest and told me it was up to me and my husband, but that we ultimately didn't need work done at this time. Duston is not out there just trying to make a buck. He's a good guy with lots of experience in the industry, and he has earned my business for the future. Thanks, Duston!

I own a preschool in Houston. Mr. Green has serviced multiple plumbing issues for the past 5 years. Recently, he helped with our residential plumbing problem. He is dependable, honest and direct. He know what he is doing. He does his work thoroughly and efficiently and is reasonably priced. Recommend him without reservation.

As a Realtor it is important that anytime a client asks for a referral for any sort of repairs I give them only the most honest and dependable referrals. Duston and Go Green Plumbing is my go to plumber not only personally, but he is the only plumber I will refer my clients to. I know he will be 100% honest and straightforward and only charge them what is necessary. I have many clients who are very satisfied with the work he has done for them and I will continue to refer him any chance I can get!

6,764 Service Calls Performed over a 9 year period as of 3-4-2017, with 1 negative review. As with every service call, I am very thorough and straight forward. Clients are informed of prices and options before ANY repair is performed, and an approval in writing is required to begin proposed work (to avoid negative reviews). Mr. Emery was told the house call was $69 before I scheduled the service call, just as with every client. The repair he requested against my recommendation, as the heater was 16 years old, was $350 (not $321 as he states). The proposal that he authorized before any work began, states that there was the possibility of needing a safety valve replaced ($65) that he may have damaged when he tried working on the heater before my arrival (I wouldn’t know if the valve would leak until the leaking unit was repaired and was brought up to full pressure). He authorized the work, along with the possibility of safety valve replacement, in writing, before I began. I reluctantly did what he asked; “repair the water heater as cheap as possible, as the home is for sale”. AFTER completing what was agreed upon in writing beforehand, and after I put almost four hours of my time into repairing his heater he stated that the charges that he approved were “excessive”, and wanted a refund or he would post a bad review.

Do not be fooled by previous reviews. Trust me when I tell you, using Dustin at Go Green should be your last choice. After the usual plumber I use was booked I call Dustin at Go green because my water heater was leaking and I needed immediate help. When I spoke to him on the phone he sounded like a straight up guy, telling me the just to come out and look at the issue would be $69 but that once we agreed to get the repair done he would give me a "firm number" on the total cost of repair, which came out to $321, to replace a $15 faucet at the bottom of the water, but I get, I was in a bind and needed it fixed quick, so I agreed to the number and left for work. Call my wife a little later to see how it's going and she informs me that he is done and gone. I asked her how much she wrote the check for and she tells me $484.......REALLY, $484? He took the liberty to replace something else without informing me or my wife AND charges an additional $69 service call fee. YEP, HE GOT ME AND HAD ALREDY CASHED THE CHECK AT MY BANK. I subsequently called 6 plumbing companies to ask if they charged an additional service fee if the customer agreed to get the work done, and across the board they all said they do not not. Bottom line, stay away unless you have no other option. Also, I just happen to ask him how much it would cost for him to replace the water heater and without hesitation he quoted me $2000....called Lowes and can get the exact same water heater, INSTALLED, for $950. I truly hate to leave negative reviews, but situations like this dictate that I do so, in hopes others don't get taken as well.
