12 January 2017 - I really wish we could reply to other reviews, because "Lathan X" (who apparently refers to himself as "Late TheGreat", that's about all you need to know) has no idea what he's talking about. It's not GoWesty's fault you apparently don't know what you're buying and/or how to install their kit/parts. They include a grommet in their fuel line kit that bypasses the old plastic connection. And good luck using those clamps from Lowes...those are NOT made for fuel hoses!! Those generic clamps will cut into your fuel hose and cause a fire! It's been about a year since his review, I wouldn't be surprised if his van is already a pile of ashes. As for GoWesty, they aren't perfect but they'll probably have just about any Vanagon part you'll need. Especially if you're in the area, it's a no-brainer for a Vanagon parts source.

Not like I would know about technical expertise, since I'm a chef, not a mechanic, but this group of professionals provide information that make my German mechanics in Stuttgart happy. The precision betwixt Web Order Administrators, Technical Advisors, & Logistical Support Specialists are unrivalled. Spot on! No Worries! Have to wait a week for shipping? As Bill the Cat might say, "...thpfffftp!" People, please! Really? A week? That's just panda poop...got any hobbies?! We find some parts that are coming from Germany less costly even after shipping costs than they are in Germany (if they're even available in Germany after production in Germany). Buy these folks a case of wine, or beer, or cash! They are the best.

Great experience and great parts and kits. I got too excited and ordered an alternator when I only needed a new wiring harness. Return was easy too. Plus I love the library.
