We offer professionally managed Big Bear rental cabins throughout Big Bear Lake & Big Bear City as well as a separate tourist mining attraction and gift shop.

Our staff is friendly and eager to please whether you wish to rent a cabin, participate in a mining adventure, or browse our unique and one of a kind gift shop.

Big Bear Lake is only a short drive away from its surrounding areas. Less than 2 1/2 hours drive from the counties of Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange, Desert, and Inland Empire.

I made a great choice renting from Gold Rush. Stayed for 3 nights and our cabin was perfect. Super clean and just as described. The owners were also great, helpful and friendly. They even went way above and beyond to help this damsel in distress out since I only had one functional arm and needed help. I will not hesitate to rent from them again. Fees were explained well, check in and out was a breeze and the cabin was awesome. Thank you again GRRR. Hope to see you again.

I booked a cabin with them at some incredibly reasonable rates. I drove in from Los Angeles and was satisfied with how fast the check in process was. The office is located within another business, which makes for some interesting buys if you feel like being kitschy. Once I got the keys, I found it was literally a 4 minute drive from the office to the cabin. Upon arriving at the cabin, I was glad to see everything had been cleaned up and prepared for use, as we had 10 people in our group. The cabin was clean, well stocked and was everything we expected out of a cabin right by the lake. Dual fireplaces, pool table, more than enough rooms to house everyone and a hot tub. I had a great time staying at their cabin and will definitely book through them the next time I go up to Big Bear Lake.

This is our second time renting with them. This time we decide to rent the same cabin however with more days during Christmas time. Our first time was okay and we like how a young lady attend us so we decide to rent for the second time. Although the tempature of the water was a bit off and the old lady for being rude we still rent with them again. However not after how awful they over charge us for little things this past Christmas . They charge us $60 for a cenimeter stain that apparently was made from us when they have really bad stains in the toilet -.- . Keep in mind that my family paid $3000 to rent with them. On top of that we already stay with them before , so we basically paid over $5000 for renting with them and they still  decide to over charge us ! Addtitionly, the heater of that cabin was broken and my family had to sleep with so many covers of how cold it was. And they still couldn’t fix the tempature of the water-.- Never again will we rent with them. Instead of over charging and complaining for small stains they should fix their cold ass cabins and their water!

We just came back from the most horrific experience with this so-called rental company. Gold Rush Rentals is a scam! We rented Bear Kub Cabin for 4 nights. Upon arrival with my 4 children youngest 3 years old, the exterior of cabin was filthy with cobwebs thick and leaves and dirt all over porch, interior was innacurate to pictures online. VERY SMALL and disgusting order, carpets filthy exposed nails on the stairs, upstairs twin bedroom had no screen on it, my son could of fallen out of the window! The jacuzzi was half filled with water with brown murky filters and water non operable jets, no working light bulbs, the game room had paint cans, spray paint, and work materials, rusty nails all over floor. Completely disgusting. I emailed 5 times to Gold Rush with BRIE. She insinuated I was lying about the condition was rude dismissive and pretty said it is what it is! I've never experienced such unprofessional concerning behavior from a company I paid $1300 to rent.
I sent pictures via email to the manager and they refused to address the safety concerns at the cabin. 
I went in person to the office after no response to my numerous emails and was expressing my safety concerns with the unscreened window exposed nail bed my son scraped his foot on to BRIE , she said I needed to wait and she couldn't help me right away, then she yelled and threatened me with security and then said I better leave the office!!! Than she proceeded to call the POLICE! I informed her that I was recording her on my cell phone !
This company is a complete scam! The so-called employees are erratic, callous, and lack any integrity they will lie and threaten Police if you address concerns!!
This was the most disturbing experience I have ever had in my life! I am forwarding all recordings to the BBB and ensuring other families don't have to go through this terrible experience.
