Story

Strength comes in many forms, and since 1965, we’ve helped people around the world find theirs. When Joe Gold opened the first Gold’s Gym, he began a tradition of commitment, passion and dedication that is still practiced today. A really solid gym/atmosphere to go to. The front staff is always very welcoming, the gym seems to be well taken care of as well. Equipment is RARELY down, and there are enough places to work out that you never seem to be crowded by anyone else if you play it smart. I give it a 5/5, but I wish they would enforce: re-racking weights where they were found, and a bit more emphasis on wiping down equipment. I don't want MRSA anytime soon.

I am trying to be unbiased about my experience at Gold's gym so people can read this review and judge for themselves. I signed up on a Black Friday and I communicated to them that I did not want to be in a contract because I was only going to be in the area for 6 months or less. When I went to cancel the other day out of the two people that I talked to I was told by one that I had a contract to 2019 and another that I had a contract to the end of this year. I was told that I might have been put into a default template of a contract and that was the reason that I was in a contract. After communicating with their regional sales manager they refused to budge, and I will be paying early cancellation fee and be done with them. I hope that this will help someone make a decision about the gym. They will not be getting any more business from me if I end up in a location that they are present, and I will not be recommending them to anyone else.

Lots of classes for you and seniors. Great equipment. Has a Lady gym area for self conscious women. Trainers available for a fee.

Amazing gym, even better trainers. This place is a ton of fun and most importantly, effective.
