Absolutely delicious. I had chicken fingers, meatless fried rice, and a spring roll. Food was hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and patient. I recommend this Chinese food spot to anyone who’s in the Merrimack valley area.

I'm not a huge Chinese food guy to start. Maybe 1 time a year maybe 2 times a year is really pushing it . This place was the spot back in the day . Few years back I ordered was very disappointed.  Just moved back around the neighborhood and decided to give them another shot . We'll I was super impressed  portions = great , food wasn't greasy or blah it was very good . Over all would have been a 5  review if they had just been a little bit more friendly . But hey I'm not eating them just the food and that was good !!

This is one of my favorite Chinese eateries. Orders are put-up swiftly on your ordinary day and portions are pretty generous. The proprietors, Jimmi and Sandy, are phenomenal people whom I will frequently see for years to come.

I have been a patron of Gold Star restaurant since the very beginning. They have never done me wrong. I've been there  when a person had a small complaint and the owner Jimmy not only took care of it but gave the woman a free order of chicken fingers. I haven't had any Chinese food since their closing. I am not boycotting other Chinese restaurants.  It's just that Goldstar is the only restaurant that I eat egg rolls and Hot and sour soup from.  I pray that other repeat patrons will take a moment to post some positive feedback. TIME TO REOPEN! Sincerely,   James Wilcox

Our family has ordered from here many times and the food has always been excellent. We live in the area and it is our go to place. I really hope they re-open soon!

Best Chinese food place I’ve ever eaten from. Have tried dozens of other places and nothing hits like Gold Star. It’s a shame there are people out there trying to shut this place down. Have been eating here for years and not have once got sick. #SaveGoldStar

Worst food ever. Chicken was only half cooked, rice was dry and crunchy, crab rangoon tasted sour. Do yourself a favor and order from: Foody Goody on Lakeview Ave Lowell

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had my Im a single father and every Friday after work if pick up some Gold Star for me and my kids. We all loved it, it makes me very sad that the city is trying to shut down this beautiful and delicious food

Update: I just ordered from here recently and I must say that the quality of the food has gone up since they've re-opened. The crab rangoon and chicken wings were flavorful and everything tasted great. I was pleasantly surprised! The hot sour soup is still to die for. It is my go-to soup for when I'm sick. I've increased my rating by 1 star. Gold Star 4/5; Noticing improvement!

Spent over $100 on my order and they didn't get the order 100% correct. I called to have them fix my order and they wanted to charge me again for the correct items and a delivery charge. I ordered a delight of 3 which consists of pork tenderloin with chicken, shrimp and scallops and this is what I received.
