Wide selection of hot food, almost like a mini golden corral, leans toward Spanish style cooking. They rotate what hot foods are out but usually have some kind of hot pasta like stuffed shells or ziti , white and yellow rice, along with at least four or five hot meat specials and all kinds of cold salads. They frequently have spare ribs, portions are generous and prices very reasonable . I got what they call a medium serving of ribs and rice for about 15.00 which was more than enough for both me and my mom for dinner, we are not big eaters but it would be a very healthy portion even for a large man. Not baby back rib quality but still very tasty, some end pieces a little chewy but excellent flavor , I would say good value for the very inexpensive price. The white rice is delicious, they put some kind of seasoning on it that really gives it a nice flavor without overpowering it . I also had their pot roast once and it was awesome, even better than my moms! Golden Bridge evidently is a favorite among the local workers and they line up at lunchtime but the service is fast and efficient. The parking lot is small and parking can be challenging at lunch , Quik Check is right next door and I would advise parking there and walking over if looks crowded in the lot. On the whole I would definitely recommend Golden Bridge as an excellent value the next time you are looking to grab some inexpensive but tasty home style food.
The food was horrible. I called and the lady and she told me to bring it back to the deli. I got dressed and took it back. She told me that I didn't need to do that. I told her she asked me to. She snatched the bag out of my hand and gave me a mean look. So, the food smelled and tasted rotten. While the service was horrible. Thank you door dash for refunding my money.
Horrible customer service. Got up charged for extra bacon after already paying for everything $1.95 for this “extra bacon” never in my life have i seen this little bacon be called “extra bacon” and then charged $1.95 extra. Also ordered two pork pupusas and got charged for both and I only received one pork one and the other was cheese yet I was charged for the two pork pupusas.. Ridiculous, I’m now really never going there. Save yourself from being charged an arm and a leg and try another local mom and pop deli that actually cares about their customers.
This establishment has been on a decline, maybe they should get people that are happy to get up in the morning to work. Not people with a nasty attitude that’ll leave you with a rude awakening.
I had been to this deli twice on different days and there sandwiches are horrible. This deli is more like a Centro America deli..thumbs down
Great customer service. Really good breakfast sandwiches for a awesome price. Most delicious on Long Island are over rated and over priced.
Loved getting the Salvadorean breakfast, and usually order for pickup via their website, but yesterday they forgot an entire order and by the time I realized I was already at work. In addition, online it says the order includes Three eggs, beans, plantains, cheese, sour cream, and small Coffee or juice, this is two days in a row that they haven't included the cheese and sour cream :- very disappointing.
Cashiers change prices all the time. Over priced products
My bf and i ordered food through Uber eats to pick up we got here and the app said the food was ready and they made us wait over 20 mins saying it would take 5 more minutes. People kept coming in after us and left before us. Do not order from here bc most likely you’ll end up waiting forever for food.
The customer service was exceptional. The only flaw and very important one. Please have your customers wear masks when entering your business establishment. This virus is effecting the communities of colour disproportionately then any other communities. We need strict governance not only on large supermarket establishments but small eateries as well. I loved that the business was bustling with activity from the whole spectrum of communities. Food looked fresh and inviting pleasant too the eyes. Keep up the good work.
