I love honey baked ham however I will probably never buy another one the price of these have become outrageous. Went with a 9 lb standing rib roast this year and it was still cheaper than a half a ham at honey baked. Not real friendly at this location either.
My experience improved this Thanksgiving. I again pre ordered turkey breast. I waited in line about 30 minutes. This year l paid $39 for 6 to 8 people. Last Thanksgiving, my preorder purchase for 7 people was supposed to be $30 to $35. Last year l actually paid $45 for a much larger order and much of the turkey breast was wasted and had to be thrown away.
I love Honey Baked hams. They are undeniably delicious. That being said, their prices have become ridiculous and their staff is always less than friendly. It is their busy time and they are trying to herd as many people through there as quickly as they can push them through. The days of being offered yummy samples and hearing Christmas carols while you wait in line are long gone. And to top it off, there was a sign stating 2 of their sides are $15.99 but when I arrived home, I discovered I had been charged $8.99 EACH. Should have checked my receipt, but like I said, we were being rushed. Even as I was trying to replace my card in my wallet, they were yelling, "next in line!"
Would have got 5 but very crowded holidayFood: 4/5
Christmas eve day and we had to run out to the Honey Baked Ham Company. I was dreading going, thinking it was going to be awfully busy. To our surprise it wasn't overly busy I guess not everyone waits until the last minute and all the employees were happy. From the employee keeping the floor swept to everyone behind the counter, even the employee who had a broken arm .... they were all so nice and everyone was smiling. Thank you to everyone at the Brentwood store! I wish all of you, a very, Merry Christmas!
We've been here a few times for their hams. This last time we picked up a turkey as well. Both were delicious. Staff was friendly and the line was surprisingly short on the last visit the day before Thanksgiving. They seemed to be appropriately staffed. Will most likely come back here again.
I had an AMAZING experience with this Honey Baked Ham! I was in a very tight crunch and needed a lot of food in a short amount of time. The manager, Joey, went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed even though he was already very busy. I was incredibly impressed with their service, pricing, and my overall experience. I highly recommend for a quick bite to eat or catering for the office!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JOEY! You are a lifesaver.
I dropped in for lunch. I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich plate. It was pretty good although the sauce on it was sweeter than I expected. For the entire time I was eating my lunch, the other customer and I were the only people visible in the place which was a bit odd, but other than that it was a good lunch.
A friend gifted me a gift card for HBHC. When I tried to redeem it, they told me, "our gift card system is down." They would not take the gift card. I called the next day and got the same response. I do not understand "gift card systems" but as a company, it seems like you'd want to figure out a way to honor the gift cards you sold people during a season when a number of people would like to utilize your services.
I went into the store to purchase a ham for Fathers Day. There were samples of ribs which I tried. They were delicious! I was skeptical of precooked ribs tasting so good. I bought a package and it was so easy and fast to prepare. There was plenty of sauce. AND the price is right!
