Packed place as expected. Long lines of waiting too. We had cocktails too. Not a bad experience at all. I am just pleased being with many more typical Americans whenever we are here. Gives me a lot of clues on how we generally do things on this level of service and experience, given the price. Kinda slow service from the staff who attended to us but I guess that's just part of the experience, especially on holidays. There's parking, we are grateful for that. Food doesn't definitely taste like most Chinese food buffet places, thankfully.
I haven't stopped here since our daughter's wedding and that was 4 1/2 years ago. It was an okay place. Then the pandemic started and they along with the majority of restaurants were forced to close. We just took a few of our grandkids there because they've never been to a buffet and I have to say, Golden Coral, you have done maybe the best changeover at all the places I've been so far. It's beyond clean, friendly and they have all sanitary bases covered. Definitely a very good experience and I hope it stays like this. Any of you other large chains need to go and see what they've done and get it together.
Everything is delicious and very clean, price is reasonable. I would recommend this place to my friends!
We got there as they were changing from breakfast to lunch so we got the best of both. They have an omelet station where you can get an omelet freshly made for you. They had so many choices in foods & desserts I couldn't name them all. The food was really good and our waitress was excellent Parking: Lots of parking
Post-covid, the food has gone down hill. It tastes like school lunch- not fresh made like it used to. Even the steak they cook in front of you- had a weird taste, like they hadn't cleaned the grill. The only food we enjoyed was a few of the desserts: ice cream, cookies, & banana pudding. Even worse, it's a zoo in there. They seat way too many people together. You're bumping elbows with the tables surrounding you! They kept running out of bowls, the poor waitress looked so busy. And the guy at the front manager? kept yelling at the staff. She was the only nice part about our visit.
We went on a day that wasn't crowded. We arrived at 1:30pm and was told they're not serving lunch only dinner. It was a little pricey but since we haven't been to a buffet in years and this would be our children's first time , we took the hit. The food wasn't tasty nor hot. My family wouldn't eat anything. I have younger children so, they were disappointed to not see the chocolate fountain they advertise on their website. Their food choices were slim and few. However, the staff was friendly and place was clean. Most likely this will be our first and last time going there.
Great customer for a buffet. We were quickly seated by the host. The wait staff was very attentive. There were various selections, including prime rib, steak, fried shrimp, chicken, and fish! Vegetarian options: Huge salad bar and a variety of cooked vegetables on the buffet. Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. The taco bar and dessert station are fun for the little ones. Wheelchair accessibility: Low tables and wheelchair seating.
My favorite all you can eat Buffett. The waiters are always nice friendly and helpful. Food is always great. I wish they had more golden corral in central Jersey when I am in the area I always make sure I go there.Food: 5/5
The food selection is wonderful. And it was very good. Also, our waiter was very nice. The facility is clean and seating is good too. I came around 2pm on wk day.
