Good BBQ. Boyfriend had hamburger steak and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I like their smoked turkey plate. Like the open kitchen area so you can see them cooking the food. Just wish all Golden Rules had the same menu choices. This location doesn't offer the homemade fried chips (awesome by the way) that are available at some other Golden Rule locations.

I work near the one in Irondale and go there often. The ladies are super nice. Always have me a pork sandwich and some Brunswick stew. I can eat that over over again and not get tired of that. Delicious.

Service very good but chopped BBQ plate was very dry meat. Maybe that was why it was drowned in overly sweet sauce. French fries were soft and soggy. Wife did enjoy her BBQ salad.

I'm from Sydney Australia and we were passing through Birmingham and decided to stop here for dinner. The food was awesome - tasted homemade and was delicious! The staff were lovely and friendly! Wish i could go back!

It wasn't bad. Service was good. Food was just okay. Got shredded beef bbq. Tasted good but was really dry. Food did come quickly.
