I've only used GSO once, and it was for an overnight delivery of a small package weighing about 5 lbs (it was some soil), and I used their Fresno office. My request was that they deliver the package to a city in CA by 10am the following day. 

They responded in the affirmative and told me they'd get it to the location by 8am and that it'd cost 36 dollars. BUT, it was delivered at 9am, and they charged me 53.16, which was okay with me, but not exactly what they promised.

We're not shippers and we didn't choose the company but we have received packages through them.  We've had packages which required signatures and we had to arrange re-delivery or pick-up at the office.  It was easy and they were nice.

I ordered tennis shoes and chose GSO so that I could have them by my weekend tournament .  They were to be delivered on Friday but the driver didn't want to wait in road work for and extra 10 minutes so they delayed my order to the next day Saturday.  I had someone waiting at the house to bring my shoes to my match but they never showed.  Later got a call that they would try to have them to me by Monday.  So much for OVERNIGHT!!

I've chosen them as a shipping option twice, and both times my items came in super fast.  I was iffy about choosing them because of the bad reviews of the other branches, but I wanted to give them a try just to see for myself.  What do you know, they are excellent with the timing of the delivery.  They have a satisfied customer :)
