I chose the Golden Valley Animal Hospital as they are one of the few that Vet Clinics in the area that accept exotic animals.  I didn't realize that having a hamster requires the expertise of someone who handles and treats exotic animals.  They have 2 locations and both are pretty close for us.  The staff and Doctors are very helpful and friendly.  They provide Excellent care for all of their clients and patients.  Just one of the reasons why I rated them as a 5 star Vet Clinic!

New to St. Louis Park area & in need of a vet, I called Golden Valley Animal Hospital & they fit me  in immediately as my Mini Australian Shepherd got very sick fast.  Dr. Goldblatt & all the staff at clinic were wonderful & nursed my sweet Bella back to health.  I was so worried about Bella wondering if I had chosen the right clinic & would she recover. Another lady at the clinic when I was bringing Bella in  saw my concern & whispered to me :  "That I was in good hands as all the vets here know there stuff!"  Thank you Golden Valley Animal Hospital!

I recently adopted a kitten from the Humane Society at the end of July. I was able to call the Golden Valley Animal Hospital and setup a general exam very easily! They scheduled me a couple days after I called, and offered important information over the phone to help the registration and appointment go smoothly when I arrived. The receptionists were very nice, and found an open room for me to sit in with my kitten so he wouldn't get overwhelmed up front. The rooms were spacious, and very clean considering how many animals visit during the day. I met with Dr. Heidi Blackburn, she has plenty of experience and knowledge with cats and dogs. Dr.Blackburn was very gentle when handling my kitten, and was easy to talk to about general question's or concerns. She wasn't short, and answered each question with detail in a way that seemed sincere as if it was her own animal. I would also like to mention, Dr.Blackburn discussed the costs for vaccines, medications, or surgeries before moving forward with your animal. Overall, I was there for about an hour and each employee I encountered was very helpful  and wanted the best for each animal that came through the door! I'll definitely be back!

I am new to the area and I had to start fresh with a new Vet for my new puppy. I chose Golden Valley Animal Hospital based on the location and the great reviews they got. I was very pleased with the staff, the DR and the place. Dalilah was greeted with big smiles and handled very gently. We go back again soon for her second set of vaccines and look forward to continue going to the great little place!

I have had great experiences at this clinic for many years.  My dog is now 14 years old due in part to the yearly exams he receives at the Golden Valley Animal Hospital.  The doctors are very knowledgeable, kind, and gentle.
