Goldwell Open Air Museum is a Nevada nonprofit organization that preserves, presents and encourages artistic exploration in, and of, the Amargosa Desert--an evocative landscape along the eastern edge of Death Valley National Park.
Goldwell Open Air Museum's 15-acre outdoor sculpture park featuring the work of four Belgian artists and a few contemporary American artists is open 24/7. An informative Visitor Center/Gift Shop is usually open Monday through Saturday from 10-4. We are a free admission site, but donations are appreciated to help us with upkeep and conservation of the sculptures and grounds.
Goldwell also sponsors an artist residency program in its nearby Red Barn Art Center and at its Open Air Printers studio in Beatty, to provide artists in a variety of disciplines with month-long residencies, giving them the time, space and solitude to create new work.
