Where has this place been all my life?!? Simply fantastic food for absolutely cheap prices!! Breakfast Special is- 3 eggs your way, breakfast fries, 4 bacon/sausage, with beans and homemade tortillas (which I suggest!) or 2 pieces Texas toast for ONLY $3.99!! And it is GOOD! Enchiladas for lunch we’re equally amazing. My new favorite place to eat in Brownwood! Caution: Spicy salsa! All Day Breakfast! Service was also equally great. How does this place not have better reviews?!?

OH MY GOMEZ! Fantastic Tex Mex food with a huge menu to find your favorite. Cooked by the original bests! A whole plate is sometime a dollar more than half a plate, and you have a ton of delicious food to take home for your next meal. Very clean, quaint, and delicious. Always a treat when we go out and take some friends . They also have American food like Chicken fried steak, my husband's favorite. Good place to relax. Great staff.

Worse experience. 1st, false advertising: the place says (Mexican food) but is TEX-MEX which is complete different. 2nd, they messed up my order: I asked them for enchiladas filled with cheese and they brought me enchiladas filled with chicken, guacamole and ground beef, so when I told them that they got my order wrong the cook told the waitress that he thought she was joking and he did whatever he wanted and 3rd of all they wanted a tip, seriously? Well I'm never coming back to this place that's for sure.

If it wasn't for the waitress and how quickly we got our meals, I'd only be giving this one star. The place was very clean with a nice quiet atmosphere. Chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. Husband ordered his all time favorite: Cheese enchiladas. I was hoping to find Carne Asada but sadly Gomez doesn't have this on their menu. Waitress recommended the Carne Picadillo or something like that. It's supposed to me chopped beef topped with gravy with a side of beans, rice, house salad and tortillas. The beef itself was more akin to a Salisbury Steak and the tortillas were obviously not homemade like they used to be. Was very disappointed.
