Professional, kind, patient and polite staff, clean, well keepped,, and the food in the cafeteria is delicious! Mother’s doctor relocated and this is the hospital that he is affiliated with. I was reluctant to travel such a distance, an hour and a half from my home, but it was worth it. My mother is 89 years old and I have always wanted the best for her. I’ve spent many days with my parents in hospitals and this is one of the best! Totally surprised and pleased!

There are far better choices in the area for medical care. I will preface this post and say, if I could rate the nurses 5 stars I would. THE NURSING STAFF IS FANTASTIC! Beyond that, this is my first rating on Google that I wish I didn't even have to give a star too. The treatment if the physicians here is quite possibly the worst I have ever seen. Over the years, I have sworn I would never return, especially after losing my grandfather to their misdiagnosis and inability to treat him in 2012 leading to his passing. However, the treatment of the ER physicans of my daughter was so incredibly poor and so incredibly wrought with misjudgment and misdiagnosis and lacked professionalism on so many levels (she was admitted to WCMC 24 hours after being released from Good Sam's ER) that I truly believe that anyone who goes to this hospital is taking their life in their hands. God Bless the nurses. If it wasn't for them and their kindness in at least attempting to help the individuals that put faith into this facility, I would have really lost myself more then I did in my last ever time in that hospital. I will never ever go there again.

Worst experience of our lives! If you want to stay alive do NOT go to Good Sam Emergency Room! Laying outside the door would be a better option! Personnel could care less if you're in pain, breathing, or even alive! My husband had a kidney stone attack-it took over 3 hours for anyone to talk to him and get him some pain medication! Spoke to Dr for 15 seconds and did not see him again during a 10 hour stay in the ER hallway. Had to ask for Flomax prescription upon release, no referral given, no pain medication prescribed, no follow up instructions-this ER is a disgrace to the medical community! DO NOT GO THERE!
