Cabins right on Lake Superior. You can hear the waves crashing on the rocks. Close to great snowshoe trails.

Awesome view if lake superior. Most cabins are rebuilt. It will be in under new ownership in a few weeks.

Last minute trip. Perfect cozy efficiency like room, with bathroom and kitchen. Beautiful view of Lake Superior and blessed with an amazingly beautiful day. Service was great. Place was clean. Neighbors friendly and courteous. Planning on another trip this fall. I'll fillow up with pictures from our trip.

The privacy is AWESOME, the owners, Karen and Tim are wonderful and very helpful. The cabins are decorated beautifully and are furnished with almost everything you would possibly need. Our view from the deck on cabin 8 is absolutely AMAZING and so is the view from the rocky shoreline. Come and you will never want to leave!!!

Gooseberry Cabins is great for a quiet weekend away. Most of the cabins have excellent lake views and are right on Lake Superior. The rocks along the shore are very fun to climb and have small fires on. The two water doesn't taste very good, however there is a tap with a filter in (presumably) every cabin. Gooseberry Cabins is very conveniently located near Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry State Parks as well as many other wayside trails.
