We visited for the Sheep Shearing Festival and it was a great experience. The grounds are big and there were so many artisans and vendors to explore. We did not go inside the house but you can tour it. The parking and tickets were well organized and we did not wait long. I would visit again for another event.

It was nice plants sale this weekend. I especially appreciate presence of experienced Gardner who helped to choose right plans and give advice about care.

Beautiful open field to go with you and your family, went to acouple events here and their lobster filled "Clam BQ" and I LOVED it

Great piece of history.  Besides the beautiful mansion, the grounds are nice for a walk.  They also have a small farm with animals and you can take your kids to see them.
