Friendly staff. Free, but there is a donation box if you would like to leave one. Friendly and knowledgeable docents. Wide variety of artists and mediums. Well curated.

Great modern art museum, right on the Brandeis campus with free admission. They have a changing collection of contemporary art on display that is well-curated, and the museum often brings in artists for talks. They also have stools for students who want to sit and observe or draw the art.

It's modern art.  Loud, disturbing, and random.  I was hoping to learn something about the art form, but despite being in an educational institute, I guess it's not that kind of place.  I left as ignorant as I entered, having no real impression to share.
