The people who work here are very nice and helpful. You're able to buy and rent new or used textbooks. They'll even buy back your textbooks.
As a nursing student, I love their package deals for each semester! They're even less expensive than the Gorilla Bookstore and they're willing to work with you on payments.

I get consistently excellent service from this business. The manager has gone out of his way to make sure I get even the occasional odd title for my grad school courses. Every person who works here is pleasant and helpful and you can tell they enjoy helping customers. I get tax free deals before classes start. The manager will even hold on to your books if you reserve them, and will work with you when your financial aid is delayed in getting to you or your bank. You just can't get this kind of personal service from a big company store, nor from an on-line seller. As a non-traditional student who is in her second time in college, let me say this is by far one of the best places I have ever purchased text books. You might be able to save a few bucks here and there, but this is a Pittsburg owned and operated business and you really get treated well. I feel like I'm getting great value and supporting the local community at the same time.

I have no idea what is driving the other negative reviews, but they must be extreme exceptions.

Great service! Highly recommend going here if you're looking for a great deal! They allowed me to return back the books I didn't need within the first week of school, and was able to get a full refund!

Had a wonderful experience with this store.  My daughter was able to rent her textbooks and return them.  Dave, the manager, was very helpful and gave us excellent customer service.  Will definitely visit them again!

I rented a book and returned it at the end of the semester. They charged my account for the entire value of a new book, plus the value of the original rental agreement. I spoke with the store manager over the phone and he insisted I had not returned my book! My next step was going to the store in person to dispute this problem. The manager repeatedly told me to calm down and was extremely defensive and unhelpful. I actually saw the very same textbook I rented and returned on a pile in the store and pointed it out to him. He brought the book over and even then he continued to deny that I had returned my book. I left the store in anger and I have been KICKED OUT OF THE STORE FOREVER!! Absolutely terrible service!!! I do not recommend this store to ANYONE, either online or in store! He refunded my money after calling me a child and telling me I need to learn to deal with problems better. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
