Gotham Steakhouse was a great dining experience for me and my husband on vacation. The wine prices were not appropriate, so my husband and I did cocktails, which were spectacular. I definitely recommend the Aviation Cocktail or a Last Word. The bartenders — and servers — know their stuff! We had the seafood tower as our dinner, and it was exactly what we wanted. It was a bit of a splurge dinner, and it was worth it. We were particularly fond of the crab legs.

Great staff and service here considering we are not a regular and it's our first time. Got a small private room on the first floor overlooking the band. Came here with a party of seven and they catered to our every wish. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because I think the food can be better. Compared to Hy's the food is a bit better there but the whole atmosphere and spacing at Gotham is way better. Would come back and give them a second try.

A great dining experience overall. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the drinks are amazing. Kudos to the staff for accommodating us as our private chauffeur got delayed us for our reservation. We were promotly seated in the bar area while our table was getting ready. The drinks arrived quickly and were transferred over to the dining area by the hostess.

Had a great meal. Note the comments re pricey, but would say that it was as I would expect. $15 cocktails and a very limited selection of wines under $70. The service was excellent although the kitchen was backed up at 600pm. If I had of been in an rush the timing would have frustrated me. I wasn’t in a rush and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. You will get a great and expensive steak. A special occasion place for sure. A regular night out and you probably get better value from the Keg which I also like.

If you’re in the mood for steak, this is the place to come. Expect to pay at least $70 for that slab of meat. All the sides, even a sauce, are extra. The steaks are excellent but I have found the side dishes to be mostly disappointing. We come once or twice a year since it opened so we’ve actually tried most of them although they tweak the menu every now and then. We had cauliflower au gratin last night and it was cold. I think it’s precooked cauliflower from a refrigerator that they put cheese over and then grill. The cheese becomes hot but the cauliflower remains cold. We sent it back and they made us a new batch and took it off our bill. The second was still no better than lukewarm. We didn’t bother to try again. The service is excellent. The decor is nice but I find the restaurant a bit too dark, so much so I had some trouble reading the menu.
