January 2015 I scheduled appointment with Dr. Grady because I had been menstruating for 12 days every month, I was sleeping all the time and felt like I had flu like symptoms. He ordered an MRI, the technician that did the MRI asked if I ever had cancer. I was nervous, I thought I will let Dr. Grady take care of this. I get a call from Dr. Grady saying that he would like for me to do an ultrasound he couldn't see my uterus clearly in the MRI. I go in to Dr. Grady's office for a visit and he asks if I wanted a hysterectomy to which I said yes, if this is what is going to make me feel better then YES! He then had me sign paper work to approve the hysterectomy. He then says I'm going on vacation for a couple of weeks I'll see you when I get back. A month goes by we are now in March 2015 I call his office and ask what's going on to which his office staff tells me "oh no one called you?" "Your insurance denied your hysterectomy." I was so confused I make another appointment because that's the only way to ask the doctor what is going on. June 2015 he tells me oh you have fibroid tumors and we can just watch them till they get to big for you and then we will ask the insurance again. I wait thinking ok he must know what's happening. He put me on birth control so that my bleeding is less than 12 days I stay on this til December 2015 all the while I'm getting worse and sleeping for most of the day. I decided to get a second opinion. Went to see another Doctor in the Whittier, CA area, he requested Dr. Grady's MRI results while I was in the office very first visit. I waited the doctor came back in and asked if Dr. Grady requested blood for testing. I said NO! He never did that. He said let's watch the tumors grow. That's when the NEW Doctor I went to tells me FROM DR GRADYS MRI RESULTS! I have CANCER IN THE UTERUS!!! My new doctor requested LAB STAT! Requested a hysterectomy from the insurance STAT! WHO IS DR GRADY AND IS HE REALLY A DOCTOR! HE WAS LETTING ME DIE!!!

Dr. Grady is the worst doctor I have ever been to. He was aggressive with me to the point of tears and had no interest in whether or not I was comfortable with the procedures he was doing on me. I'm a 22 year old girl who has only been to a gynecologist once, back in my hometown. Being brand new to LA and new to the gyno scene in general, I was a young scared girl that fell extremely ill without knowing where to turn. After uncomfortably suffering for weeks, I finally found a doctor that could take me, Dr. Grady, since most recommended doctors were not taking any new patients, or were booked out for months. Desperate at this point, I read Dr. Grady's yelp reviews and figured getting into any doctor immediately was better than nothing... boy was I wrong. During the appointment I was in pain the entire time. He shoved a speculum inside me without asking if I was ready, or giving me any warning. It seemed to be in there for forever too, because he wasn't informing me of what he was doing or what was to come. The pain brought me to tears, which he saw, but did not ask if I was okay. He had this nervous energy about him as if he just wanted to get it over with, not caring about me, the patient. Needless to say, I have never felt more violated in my life. I left his office sobbing, with no resolution, only to receive a bill in the mail for $315 dollars AFTER my insurance (normal coverage for me is only $20 copay out of my pocket). Dr. Grady is a crook and a pig that doesn't care about his patients. It turned out all that was wrong with me was a yeast infection - which should have been caught immediately by Dr. Grady, but instead I suffered for two more months until I could get an appointment with an educated doctor, who caught this on her first look at me. Dr. Grady is your worst fear as a gynecologist.
