I bought two stoves, one for a rental property and one for my house with a hood. The install at the rental property went fine but at the house the installers used a part the day previous and didn't restock. So they couldn't properly install the range. It also turned out that my old range hood is custom and the vent won't work with the new hood, so we had to send the hood back. 30 days later, I've been on the phone with Grand 4 times and stopped by the store once. The install team never came back to properly set up my range and Grand is still working on the refund for the range hood... Not happy.

We purchased a washer and dryer and were very happy with the entire sales process. We were going to buy one of the sets we had seen online and our sales lady, Jenna, went through the set we were looking at and offered us a couple different options. She knew what she was talking about so we went with one of the other sets she recommended and are very happy we did! Their delivery crew was great. They called when they were on their way, navigated their way through the construction zone that is our kitchen right now, and we're efficient and clean in the delivery. They even took all the packaging with them so we had the bare minimum to clean up when they left. I definitely recommend you go to Grand in Forest Park. Their prices are the same if not better than every other dealer in the area and hey are family owned and aren't pushy with selling you on the spot. The patience and knowledge was very much appreciated and we will be going back once that kitchen is done for a brand new set of appliances from Grand and Jenna!

I was referred by a friend of mine to Jenna at Grand Appliance and TV and made the trip to see her at the Forest Park store to purchase a new grill. She was very knowledgeable and patient when we came in and talked us through our options without ever being pushy. Ultimately we decided on a Weber grill and we are so happy with the service Grand provided in the store as well as on delivery. The deleviry people were very courteous, even though they had to climb three flights of stairs with a grill, and even assembled it for us! (FOR FREE) When I purchase my new kitchen appliances in the spring, I will definitely be going back to Grand and I highly recommend you do as well. I had Great customer service all around from everyone I talked to at the company and that is not easy to find in today's retail world.

Do not purchase from this store. While the sales people are nice enough, the organization as a whole stinks! We have been trying for a week to get a repair/replacement for a 2.5 month old Frigidaire fridge and have had no help! Corporate actually laughed at me when giving me Unique Services number. Go to any place else! Dishonorable company!

They had everything in stock and were pleasant during the sales process. It was all downhill from there. We purchased an electric oven/stove to replace my old one in Oak Park. After we made the purchase but before it was delivered we decided to upgrade it to include a warming tray. They included the upgrade but neglected to tell me over the phone that the stove would not be delivered if I didn't come in and pay the $170 balance for the upgrade in advance. Luckily I called the day before delivery as I had an electrician onsite to prep the site for the new oven. I called Grand Appliance to confirm the delivery time while my electrician was at my house and that's when they informed me that I needed to come over to their store by 11am (NOW in other words) and pay the balance. I raced over and paid the balance. While there they, mentioned to me that the new ovens are not hard wired like my old one. I asked what kind of plug does the stove need? They didn't know. Long story short, no one could tell me what kind of plug my electrician needed to install. We took a guess at it and, of course, we guessed wrong. The next day, my new stove was delivered and I had to have the electrician come back while the installer was there. Luckily there was one available at the time. He came over, looked at the plug and told me what I needed. I raced to the local hardware store and purchased the correct plug. Brought it home and the electrician and installer could finish the job. How does an appliance retailer not know what kind of plug is required for the merchandise they sell? How could they not have any sources at all they could call and find out? Did they just not want to be bothered? I will be purchasing my next appliance someplace else.
