Grand Coney once was a really fun place to eat. It was almost like the Cheer's experience in the television program. Once the new owners took over they did not respect the value of the head employees. So, they were forced to leave. Many of the regulars stopped eating at Grand Coney. There are only 4 of the older group left. Congratulations on promoting Dan to manager. Please value the three wait staff remaining by respecting what they have to offer. They deserve long awaited raises. Significant raises. Andy is part of the newer staff. She is always pleasant and very helpful. Please value her and treat her with respect too. There is significant turnover in the new wait staff. Why is this? I am enjoying your new menu. But, I am only comfortable when the staff is smiling and helpful. I have been very nice to the new staff in training and then I don't see them again. Why is this. Also, you need to teach the new staff to make a proper milkshake/malt. Recently they do not have a richness. They taste like chocolate milk. I used to bring many friends there for chocolate malts. Not any more. Please increase the stability of your staff. And the qulaity of your ice cream offerings. Thank you for asking and taking the time to read my message.

Service was fair. The food took a long time even though we were the only guests in the place. Food sat in the window. We could tell the kitchen clearly didn't care and neither did the management because they were all worried about their smoke breaks. We would have been better off getting McDonalds. Never going back.

The food is decent, prices are good, service is quick. As diners go, I prefer New Beginnings down the street, but this place is a good choice. It’s also open 24 hours, for those late night expeditions for greasy food.

Late night, early morning, always open. It's like a last minute date to prom. Sure there are other options but since it's late you jump on anything that isn't fast food. The staff is always friendly which bumps it up to a 4 star. I couldn't tell you about the menu because all I ever get is the Philly cheese steak.
