I have attached the photo of the truck that was sitting in front of my house for over months. When I called the police to report the truck for safety reasons, the police asked me if I was on medication. The police officers said his last name is Prince but refused to give me his first name. Officer said his badge number was 222. The vehicle the officer was driving was 008 x 449. Police report number is 85988. The address is 310 Fairbanks St. ne. 49503. Way to keep us safe officer! When a concerned citizen calls the officer to report suspicions of a crime or for safety concerns, the police should not assume that the person is crazy for calling an officer when they feel unsafe. If this truck is there for surveillance that came with a warrant, then the police should assure citizens of their safety, not ask them if they are crazy. Bad police work. Usually Grand Rapids police is good, obviously an exception to the rule.

I have yet to have any problems with our Grand Rapids Police. In all my years of living in Grand Rapids the G.R police department is fast to respond and very thorough with questioning and fallowing up. Thank you Grand Rapids Police for putting your life on the line to protect victims and serving your communities by making our our neighborhoods safer and better. Thank you for your Service!

Worst enforcement agency. Park where you want, they won't enforce it. They will talk down to you though. Why pay taxes for this subpar public service?

The fact that their police officers are "trained" to pull a gun on 12 year old black kids just walking home from playing basketball is beyond ridiculous. I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of not only professionalism but the lack of humanity that it takes to treat black children the way this police department did. If these are your professionals then this police department should be shut down because they are a disgrace.
