I have been working with these folks and needed to try the goods. I had the beef pot pie and the MI ABC pie (w/ ice cream of course). Delicious is the only way to describe it. The restaurant itself was very warm and welcoming, the staff pleasant and not intrusive. Great experience!

The best pie in Michigan. Love the triple berry pie. Plus they have great breakfast items and sandwiches for lunch. Awesome food all around.

I meet here almost weekly with a nice group of gals to knit and catch up over pie. We love this place! The staff are so nice. I misplaced my keys and one of the ladies went thru the trash to see if I may have deposited them there by accident. I didn't ask her to but she jumped right in to help and I appreciated it very much! I did find them eventually. The food here is wonderful! Especially the pie! Strawberry rhubarb crumb is my favorite! They have free WiFi and electrical outlets near tables so you can use a laptop and get work done. It's cozy and generally quiet. I tend to have time to wait for family and this is the place I like to be while I wait for them to get done with their activities.

I had a craving for Dutch apple pie yesterday so we searched out the Grand Traverse Pie Company in Portage and we were delighted with the service and the food! I called ahead and found out they had Chicken with wild rice soup and we decided it would be our supper spot last night! My husband had the beef pot pie and it was delicious. Macy, who waited on us, couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. She is a gem of an employee! The atmosphere and decor was clean and inviting. We will be adding this to our regular restaurant visiting spots.

I love the pie here! Only issue I had was my "for here" pie slice was given in a plastic container with plastic utensils. I'd rather eat with a real plate and fork when I'm in the restaurant.
