Dr Grandaw is great. He explains everything thoroughly and answers any questions you might have, no matter how silly they probably are (first time mom here). I'm also in and out fairly quickly. This is important to me since I have a little one that can't stay still.

LOVE DR. GRANDAW! He's amazing, I love how he is with me & my kids. Always easy to talk to and explains any questions you might have. My daughter was sick and in bed for a week and I when called to see if I could get her in he stayed open later just to see her and had her feeling better by the next day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This review is for a first time wellness check for a 2 year old boy by Doctor Peter Grandaw. After moving from the Bay Area, CA to Redding, we did a lot of research and talked to locals about who the best pediatrician in the area was. Doctor Grandaw exceeded those expectations. From the child friendly waiting room, well child decorated check up rooms, and friendly staff, a tight ship is run. All forms requested for preschool admission were filled out quickly. All referrals and dentist recommendations for being out of town proved to be exactly as quality as recommended by Doc Grandaw. The actual doctor visit and interaction with my son was a miracle to behold. My son was terrified of doctors up until he met Doctor Grandaw. He immediately connected with my son by talking directly to him most of the check up. Not a tear from a toddler that had been traumatized by a biopsy previously. I thought we were in trouble leaving the Bay Area and leaving a pediatrician we trusted. But, even on a busy Monday at his office, Doctor Grandaw took the time and treated my son with respect, asking all the right questions about his health and family history, and it made all the difference. We feel fortunate to have him as a doctor, and highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Grandaw since I was five and he has always made me feel very comfortable. Even as I got older and developed, I never felt uncomfortable. He explains everything very thoroughly and never candy coats anything. He is definitely a fantastic pediatrician.

Dr. Grandaw is a solid doctor, but his wait times are horrible and seem to be getting worse. Expect at least an hour wait for a scheduled appointment.
