Granite City Food & Brewery is a polished casual American restaurant with an on-site brewery. The on-site brewery, with award-winning hand crafted micro-brews, is visible from the main dining and bar areas. The wait time was short, as we called ahead. The waiter was fairly efficient, especially with refills on beverages. We ordered an appetizer which took a little longer than expected for pretzels and cheese, which was good. We waited over half an hour after we had finished our appetizers for our food to arrive. The chicken limone was good and hot but the mashed potatoes were lukewarm with barely any sauce on them. The asparagus was good, but lukewarm as well. The steak was cooked to specifications and satisfactory but the green beans were barely cooked. Is that a thing now? And, as often happens (still in 2018) the waiter asked my male companion how things were when he brought the bill, to him.

Delicious food with incredible staff. Steps from where I stayed its was great to have somewhere close with a great variety. Everything you hear about St. Cloud is true. Friendliest people you'll ever meet.

I have not been to a Granite City pub in quite a while.  The food is still good to above average.  The server was great seeing to our needs with fast and efficient service.

Tonight we went to the St. Cloud location for a family birthday, and I couldn't be more impressed. This place is obviously a well-oiled machine. Hats off to management and staff. Our party of 5 was greeted and seated quickly and with care by a host that actually made eye contact and smiled. He set the tone, and from there our server was spot on with everything. She was attentive but not rushing us. Drinks came quickly and appetizers were spaced well with the meal. I've never been a big waffle fry guy, but the Idaho Nachos were the bomb. When the food came out I thought it was for another table. Like the appetizers, every dish had flawless presentation. To me it can be world class cuisine, but if it comes out looking line it fell on the plate, I lose faith. Whomever is prepping the final product here needs a raise. Oh, and....clean bathrooms!  The best word for this entire experience would be...synchronicity. These people care and they are all on the same page. Until now most other St. Cloud restaurants have been mediocre to downright disgusting. Thank you for a unique experience !!!

There last night with family for dinner. Had previously been there for lunch and had a flat bread pizza which was good. Really felt like the dinner menu was lacking. Ordered shrimp tacos which were way too spicy for someone who doesn't mind a little bit of spice.Husband ordered a special  A beef taco type dish which just wasn't that great, too spicy. Atmosphere is busy and fun, our server was a nice guy. Overall I won't be going back for more than lunch or 
Hors d'oeuvres and a beer. Miss the days we used to get the smothered beef with garlic mash potatoes😜
