American infrastructure done on the cheap. No continuous shelter, no elevators. No bus shelters for all the shuttles. At least there's a driveway. There's no signage for this, but exiting at one end of the platform will let you cross the street to Calle de Luna, which actually offers you a nice view of the moon and gets you quickly to the Lick Mill VTA station, making the stairs in the middle fairly useless.

As you can tell this is not the train station that it claims to be. this is the great America light rail station across the street from levi stadium.

There isn't much to it - it's a concrete platform under an overpass, with an attendant selling ACE Rail tickets and an automated kiosk selling Amtrak tickets. What I love about it is that for ACE passengers there are lots of free shuttles to take you anywhere in the silicon valley area, with an easy walk to VTA Light Rail too. The hot dog vendor is convenient too. I've attached a 360 VR capable photo so you can see for yourself.

I was just on the zephyr from chicago and the service was bad.the attendant was non responsive to passengers need, and I believe he was called on the carpet by the conductor because things got a (little) better. the bathrooms were a mess ,no paper towels, floor dirty, and very unclean bathroom in general. sometimes no coffee, had to go to a different sleeper car for that. we had to search for the attendant several times A to get the bed turn down and put back up in the am. I do not know when they change the bedding, but after two days of use they made them back up for the return trip using the same sheets. NOT TO SANITARY. Did I mention that on the trip to Chicago had a wonderful and thoughtful attendant and that I Was in the sleeper car. The food on the train was limited but acceptable but on the return trip lack in professional service and the food, on the bakery side the hard rolls and hamburger buns were hard and stale you would think they would at least bring on fresh bakery bakery goods once in awhile I Could go on but you get the drift they need to keep a better eve on there people and goods.
