My 4 year old daughter had never had a haircut at a salon before because I just trimmed the ends myself at home when she was a toddler. Her hair had gotten super long over the summer, so she decided she wanted to go to a "beauty shop." When we arrived at Great Clips, which is down the street from her daycare, she started to get nervous. We sat down to wait our turn and she decided she wanted to go home. Luckily, our stylist called her name right when she was about to start crying. I was impressed that even though most of the chairs were full when we arrived right around 5:00 p.m. and I expected that it might take awhile, it was probably less than five minutes before they were able to take care of us. The stylist was understanding about my daughter's reluctance to sit in the chair and gave her a special "Monster Cape," which she loved and decided made her brave. 🙂 The cut itself only took another five, maybe ten minutes tops. It looks great and everything is even, which impressed me because after a long rainy day cooped up at preschool, my little one was pretty wiggly and kept forgetting where she was supposed to put her head! The stylist was patient, calm, and efficient. We even received a little card labeled "My First Haircut" and they taped a lock of her hair inside, which was nice of them because although it was her first time in a "beauty shop" it technically wasn't her first haircut. The price point at Great Clips is hard to beat and definitely worth the savings for this type of simple cut. I don't recall the exact price of the haircut because I also purchased some all natural children's lip balm for my daughter's dry lips. I have not seen the brand carried in any other stores and I'm so glad I found it because my daughter doesn't like to use chap stick or balms, complaining that they taste yucky. She actually liked this grape flavored one and insists on keeping it in her backpack so she always has it at school. Great Clips deserves this 5 star rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️for our first visit, based on the fast, kid-friendly service , the quality of the haircut, the skill of the stylist, the convenient location, and the introduction to a new favorite product line. We'll be back next time for sure!

Always a great haircut, been going for a year and a half and used a different stylist each time and always left with a great haircut..services are A+.

I'm new in town and don't really know the salons all that well, so I have just been coming here. After having three different stylists at this Great Clips with three bad results, I've decided that I'm never stepping foot in this place, or any other Great Clips! They are so disinterested in what you are trying to achieve. They always start out nice and helpful and take their time, but then they push you out the door at the end once they've reached their time limit... no matter how uncomfortable you feel about your hair. I've had many experiences of them saying comments such as "well, once you use a flat iron" or "once you use the right products", but they don't take the time to show me what I should be using to achieve the look that I want (fine, I WON'T buy your products). They say to come back in if you are unhappy... but there is NO WAY I will let them touch my hair again after they have already messed it up... My latest experience, I told the lady how insecure I was and showed her pictures of what I wanted. She started chopping away and then halfway through basically said "Oh! You wanted it like THAT... well.. I've already cut this, so it will have to grow out first".... Not to mention the fact that she NEVER used a mirror to show me the back of my hair!!!!!! I was very upset when I left and am very unhappy with the results. Everything is too short and nothing will lay correctly... I understand that they are on a time schedule, because more clients means more money... but this is my HAIR... something that I have to wake up and deal with, and look at every time I see a mirror! I'm sure that there are a few exceptions of women that know what they are doing at Great Clips... but I haven't found them... So if you don't care about your hair at all and just need a cheap trim, they are super... otherwise, don't bother and go to a salon.
