The Halloween event was above and beyond anything we expected. We haven't attended in years...we will definitely be back. Great job and I am super impressed at the fleet of volunteers you had to help make it all possible. What a great way to get families interested in the sanctuary. Wonderful job and thank you for this amazing community event.

Loved this museum. They have a life sized boat that my boys loved playing on. Interesting artifacts from shipwrecks and they even have an app that you can download and use to tour the museum. And it is free (they do accept donations). Would definitely recommend!

This museum uses pictures, models, and artifacts to trace travel and commerce on the great lakes from native American canoes to modern super freighters. It also has pictures and stories of some of the hundreds of shipwrecks that occurred. There is a reproduction of a ship that you can "board" and experience what it might be like to be on board during a storm. Admission is free. Support is from NOAA and donations. Well worth the time.

This is a fantastic place to visit. We go regularly in the winter and my kids are always finding new things to look at or do. The gift shop has many unique gifts in a wide price range. The special events they host on Halloween, 4th of July, etc are always fantastic.
