Very Overpriced sticks and drum heads

This guy is probably one of the best drum instructors around-from standard rudiments through jazz and rock, he knows it all.

Can't speak to lessons offered there. However, I highly recommend NOT taking any instruments or gear in need of repair there. We took a guitar amp there. My husband was told it would probably take a few days to repair. He was also told that the repairman (someone unaffiliated with GSM) would give us a call directly before repairs were done to let us know what the deal was. Three weeks later and we had not heard word one from the repairman.We called the Great Southern Music several times and were given the run around ("It's next on his list) and all that. We asked for the phone number of the repairman so we could contact him directly and were just told he had our number and would call when he had something to tell us. Then all of a sudden, the amp is back, repaired, and ready to go. We were not consulted about needed repairs and we did not give our consent for the repair to be done. I'm not willing to pay the cost that we're being charged for a repair to which I never consented. Now, the owner is holding our amp hostage. In my experience, this guy has a disturbing lack of scruples and the way in which he runs his business is unethical.

I bought my daughter piano lessons for Christmas 2015. Shortly after she started her teacher became ill and was not able to come back for an extended period of time. Week after week I received a call telling me that there wouldn't be lessons again that week. After the 6th week I found a different teacher. 6 weeks is more than enough time to find a replacement. Sadly, that is 6 weeks that my daughter had to miss out on her gift of lessons. 
I would like to add that the teacher was excellent and my daughter just adored her. If I could review her I would give her 5+++ stars! In the few lessons that she did get, she learned A LOT! Unfortunately, things do happen however the company should have made a better attempt to place the students with other teachers to have lessons made up and/or found a replacement teacher.

Probably a great place for lessons. Not so much for buying equipment. Deal directly with his repairman, North GA Horn Works in Kennesaw for more accurate time estimates and prices (both are higher than he originally quotes, so talking to NAHW to avoid nasty surprises later.) Ordered equipment from him. Said it would be in in 2 days. He hadn't even ordered them 2 days later. Gear finally came in 8 days after I paid, instead of the quoted 2. He never called to let me know it would be later, I kept calling and kept getting the run-around of in a day or two. He had ordered a saxophone ligature, when I had needed a clarinet one. Had to take it back. Issued a refund  that actually charged my credit card AGAIN. So had to go back again and asked for a check, because, well....The repairs he quotes 2 weeks, when they actually take 3+ weeks, depending on the workload of the guy doing them, so keep that in mind if this is the quote you get.
