Very friendly staff. Food was average, definitely had a lot better. Dining area was clean, needs updating, unless you like the 1980’s. Booth seats had massive holes in them, appears to be a bacterial playground.
Great Wall is an amazing restaurant and has a great buffet. You can order something off a menu, go to the buffet, or cook up something of your own creation. Do not be daunted by the raw meat. You give it to a chef and they will light it on fire in front of you. So fun, go there. It's great. Service is great! You will find yourself tipping well.
Everything was really old it was so bad I actually took a picture of the meat from the hibachi section. The general tso's chicken had a texture like jerky. They had meatballs that tasted like beef that was defrosted to long and cooked in a microwave or freezer burnt. The sweet and sour sauce was good But the chicken and pork you dip it were again very old. The pork fried rice may have been old I kind of assume it was but tasted pretty good. Were there at 6:30 which is like prime dinner time so you would think they would circulate their stuff but no and it was horrible.
Leave it to Great wall to save the night! We ordered takeout at a different Chinese restaurant and waited waaaay to long for a promised time the other restaurant couldn't deliver on. We called Great wall when we left the other restaurant and by the time we got there the food was ready and SO good! The restaurant looked super clean and nice and VERY busy. Definitely will be getting food from here again!
We got take out tonight - fabulous, thank you! The food was delicious, hot, ready on time, packaged carefully with all needed condiments and utensils and all for a reasonable price. The staff person who helped us was efficient and friendly. Unlike some places, this meal was not overly salty. We will definitely be back!
Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. You want good wok, this is it. You want fancy pants dining ... maybe don't choose a buffet? Good delivery, great service in restaurant. And most of all, really good food. Do not fret, this is the wok you want. Inexpensive and good fried food. Service was excellent as well. My 3 kids under 7 loved it. Buffet was well stocked and nothing ran out.
Went to the buffet around 8pm and the food in the trays were all room temperature. I can only imagine they’ve been sitting there for over an hour. The whole time I was there I only saw them replace one single food item. I can’t imagine that this restaurant is up to its health standards. I got food poisoning from eating here. 2 stars because the staff was accommodating, but otherwise this place gets a 1 for me.
For 8 years Great Wall was the only place I'd order Chinese food. However, Their lack of customer service and unwillingness to own up to and correct a small mistake will prevent me from ever ordering or suggesting Great Wall again. They do not appreciate your business. Due yourself a favor and go somewhere else that appreciates you choosing to spend your money with them.
The waitress was amazing and sweet, but there was rotten meat on the line think green and all the food was cold. Even after the stir fry was cooked, the noodles were stone cold and hard. I don't know how it got so bad, but it was a very unpleasant experience. The girls up front were very kind and understanding though. They are great.
For a Sunday evening it was fairly slow. Not a bad thing The service was prompt and friendly. The overall atmosphere was pleasing and the buffet was full of classic Chinese quisine. The best for me was that the food was hot, fresh, tasted homemade and wasn't thick and syrupy. I can't find anything to complain about...thank you. I would recommend this restaurant if you like Chinese buffets.
