Took my daughter for one night, it was a blast. Pool looks very busy, but once in it's not bad at all. Lifeguards are amazingly alert, I watched one get "surprised tested" by someone fake drowning. I used to be a lifeguard in high school and his response was flawless. Made me feel my daughter is very safe. Food was great, we had dinner at the grill or whatever the nicer restaurant was. Very good waiter, and tons of gluten free food options. Next morning the breakfast was great as well. Only suggestion, they do need more staff at the ice cream stand. Only complaint about the entire experience was the 2 bozos who seemed stoned working the ice cream place, there were many frustrated people in line. We played the magic quest game at night, kids everywhere having lots of fun, then there was a dance party. Definitely focused around the pool, but there is tons of other activities to do. We will be returning.

We spent a night at Great Wolf Lodge for my grandmother's 80th birthday. It was a great way to get 4 generations together for am event. My husband and I don't have kids so had we not been with extended family we probably would have felt this was alright for a night away. The pool area was full of unattended kids and sitting in the hot tub wasn't enjoyable because of this. Wish there was an adult only swimming/hot tub area. We had a family dinner catered which was great - the ribs were good! Not sure that there was a microphone available or that the background music could be turned off for announcement, singing happy birthday, etc. We went to the buffet for breakfast and had better food and service than the group that went to a nearby breakfast restaurant for about the same price ($20 for all you can eat food and coffee).

We’ve been coming here for 4 years twice every year. It’s an amazing place to spend time as a family. Lots of activities to do and they have definitely gotten better over the years. It is a pricey place but well worth every penny! We have always stayed at the kids cabins. We bring our own food and eat dinner there one night. We also buy the Paw Pass. It allows the kids to do a little bit of everything and saves you money. Would recommend this place to all different ages! ( There’s a bar inside the water park with lots of yummy drinks!)

This last visit makes it about 5 years of annual visits to the Great Wolf Lodge. Or kids are now 7 and 9, which is kind of the sweet spot in terms of ages that will find the rides here fun. My boys have a great time on the slides in the day time and then usually move to the Magic game in the evening, after dinner. That usually means they are asleep on their feet by 8 or 9pm. We, as parents, are nearly as exhausted after a couple days of that. We plan to go back again in about a year for more fun, and will continue until the boys don't think it's cool anymore, which I'm guessing will be around 12 or 13. Till around that age I highly recommend the Great Wolf Lodge.

Okay, it was a fun few hours at the water park, but the power went out the next day. The pat answer of we will handle things on a case by case basis is annoying but understandable. What wasn't understandable was the lack of safety procedures during an outrage. There are no safety lights in any of the hotel rooms and there were flashlights or emergency lights that could be used in the rooms themselves. Furthermore, there were no staff members in the stairways making sure people were moving safely and when an elderly gentleman fell, the response from staff was not of concern but of annoyance. If you're lucky power a outage won't be an issue for you, but prepare for one and bring you're own flashlights because like I said there are no safety lights in rooms, including the bathroom.
