There were multiple errors made with them opening my account, which doesn't put me at ease with trusting them with my money. This credit union also has more fees and requirements to avoid fees than any other credit union I've been a member at.

No communication or alerts regarding outages or ebranch/atm's not working. I'm not very fond of not being able to access online banking nor do I like needing to go In and see a teller just to pull out money.

Update to the update: As it turns out, GNCU only "cared" about my issue because of a bad yelp rating. Cool. Since the problem I had almost a year ago, my relationship with GNCU was uneventful. I managed my account with ease and we didn't interact much. Cue a month ago, a vendor takes funds from the wrong account. Continues to try to do so. GNCU charged me $170 in fees for a transaction that DID NOT EVEN OCCUR NOR WAS IT MEANT TO. I called the branch, and the supervisor told me there was nothing she could do. I emailed corporate, and they told me the same. How is a credit union going to protect my money from fraud or errors made by vendors when they're too busy taking my money over the errors for themselves? At least with Wells Fargo I was able to dispute merchant errors and associated fees were reimbursed. Now I'm just waiting for the inevitable time that this shady company sends the charged off account (which will be charged off with nothing but THEIR fees) to collections over some bogus error that they should have resolved. Call me stubborn but I'll dispute that with ChexSystems when it occurs. We don't negotiate with terrorists, even the ones who pretend to be our neighbors.

I've always banked at credit unions and have never had this much trouble before. It has been mistake after mistake with almost no communication. I've been waiting for over a month for chip cards and my checks, and it comes to find out after calling again, they never sent them. So now I have to wait even longer. Very nice tellers at the actual branch, but the behind the scenes workers leave much to be desired. Here's hoping I get my items this time around.
