I needed to pay my GPSD bill and called to find out the best way to do this. I was told to go to HyVee to make a payment. When I arrived, they charged more than I was told I would pay for the fee, and they took my money to make the payment. Afterwards, I called to GPSD to verify the payment was accepted without issue, and was told they never received the payment. After further research, I found that the HyVee in Grand Prarie does not have the correct banking information to process payments to GPSD. As a result, I had to travel to GPSD on Darst St, a total of 4 times, mind you, I live near Grand Prarie Mall. I had to show the receipt from HyVee to verify I attempted to make the payment. I was told I'd receive a rejection letter for the payment and once I received that letter, I'd need to return to the office and show them the letter. I did that also. I now have to return to the Office to make a payment because I have Zero faith in their third party payment system. On top of that, when I received my refund from HyVee, I did not receive a refund of my "fee" for sending the money since the payment was "rejected" by GPSD. GPSD insists they did not know that HyVee had the wrong information and they did not accept the payment to send the money, (they just sent a customer there to give HyVee their money). I am at a loss when attempting to understand how a company does not recognize it was their instruction that caused a problem and why they would not accept responsibility for causing a problem in the first place. Has this country seriously become one where no one accepts responsibility for their mistakes or makes any attempt to rectify the situation? What ever happened to personal (corporate) accountability? (James 4:17) Because 1 Thessalonians 5:15 tells us that we should not "repay evil for evil", I wish no ill will towards GPSD, but I do want this to serve as a warning to others who might be in a similar situation.
