We decided to try this place today and the wife and I are so glad we did! The Cheesesteak I ordered was delicious and had that amazing texture and warm mouthfeel that only an incredibly Philly Cheesesteak can offer. She ordered the falafel gyro and it was stunning! The photos tell the story there. Bursting with flavor! Also our server/cashier was extremely kind and helpful. Great experience!
The food here is authentic and phenomenal! The woman at the front, who took my order, was so friendly and sweet. The only reason for 4 stars is because the prices posted are incorrect. I ordered the house special Gyro and a side of Falafel listed as $8.95 & $7.99, respectively but my total came out to $21.57. I don’t mind paying for great food, but wish the displayed prices were in accordance with whatever I’m truly being charged.
I think this place is under new management. Went here like a year or so ago and it was very good. This time they had cheese steaks and such with 1 person working. Waited an hour for a to-go order. Baba ganoush didn't even come with a pita. The food was fine, the lady was super nice, and the prices are high for what you get.Food: 2/5
Food was good! I liked their pita a lot and love that they give you a salad with lots of olives. Gyro meat was just ok, usually I expect to see it on a spit so seemed like it was frozen. The hummus was tasty and the baba ganoush wasn’t available unfortunately so didn’t get to try that. Falafel was just ok as well but I loved the dolmas.
We found this cafe tucked in the Safeway shopping center at 92nd and Washington, and what a find is was. Friendly staff and awesome gyros. The have quite a broad menu , but we enjoy their classic gyros so much we haven't tried the other items yet. Pretty sure we're going to like them all
Edit: the baklava, also not good. We just ordered for delivery a little bit ago. Was looking forward to it as I was craving some Greek! I got the gyro chicken and falafel mix - I ordered no tomato and no onion. I found remnants of both in my gyro. Wondering if they just picked it out of the mix. I'm allergic to tomatoes so it should be a fun night. Moving on, the meat was a little dry, the tzatzki sauce is just meh. The hummus is boring. And we got a large size for 8$ and it doesn't even come with pita!!!!! What????? also, see photo. That's a "large" My fiance's chicken platter was okay. The chicken was very moist and good. The salad doesn't even have kalamata olives in it - just green and black lol wut?. It also tasted very floral, bleh. The pita for my gyro was also pretty hard on the outside edges. We've eaten a lot of Greek here and in the city. This is not a go-to.
Honestly, this is my 3rd visit, and it's been perfect every time. You guys have honestly redefined what toppings I think belong on a cheesesteak, if you're reading this, just get the loaded, trust me. Oh and they season their fries, which is above and beyond. Great little spot that I hope remains there for a long time to come! Come and help support guys, you won't be disappointed. Would post pics, but already ate everything, sorry.
This food was absolutely amazing, fresh, and authentic!! I wish I lived near this great place, I would certainly come twice a week. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful! The woman in the front was indeed nice, sweet, and professional. She just happen to also be the chef. I was so impressed!! It was so good, me & my boyfriend ate the entire platter in one sitting right in front of the parking lot. We immediately ordered another plate to go for later. If you are near the Denver/Thornton area, don’t hesitate to try this place. I am almost certain if you like gyro or Mediterranean food, this will top what you have eaten. I eat similar platters all the time. This is my FAVORITE place. Unfortunately, I don’t live in the state may God continue to bless this wonderful place. Please go & enjoy what I wish I could eat everyday! Hehe.
I've been searching for the perfect gyro. My search has ended. This is the place. I took my wife here for lunch and she had never had a gyro before. We were instantly transported to Greece. This food is authentic and worth a try. I'll be frequenting this establishment from today forward. Oh, and the tzatziki sauce is legit.
Loved their cheesesteak! I added bacon and mushrooms. The picture says it all.Food: 5/5
